Thomas Brooks began writing at an early age but kept the short stories he made up to himself. Over the following years writing became more than a hobby and increasingly less of a secret. Now with a determination to pursue a career as an writer/author Tom is forced to talk about himself in the third person because that’s how “about me” on blogs are written. 

 

His and his friends consumption of literature, film, television and table-top role playing games has given him an insight into the widespread opportunities presented by multiple genres; namely fantasy, horror and science fiction, and his writing has been influenced by both popular and more obscure fiction.
 

In his daily life, Tom is attempting to balance a degree in philosophy, politics and economics, working as a servant at a real medieval castle, writing both fiction and non-fiction, his social life and achieving adequate sleep. If you are reading this then it seems to be going quite well.
